    President - Matt Bromage

    Matt is a fourth year studying math and physics. He has been a brother of APO since Fall 2023. His favorite service event is the Community Serving because it means a lot of be able to put together meals for food insecure people who may face health issues or dietary restrictions with other great volunteers.

    Membership VP - Vanessa Liang

    Vanessa is a fourth-year studying Chemistry & Data Science. She has been a brother of APO since Fall 2021. Her favorite service event is the MIT Science Bowl because it’s always fun seeing a little bit of friendly competition in STEM.

    Service VP - Jordan Gonzales-Goss

    Jordan is a 4th year studying Economics with a Minor in Psychology. She has been a brother of APO since Fall 2022. Her favorite service event is the Hill House Basketball because I love seeing the passion and dedication from the kids and coaches!

    Service VP - Lin Luo

    Lin Luo is a third year studying Mathematics and Psychology. She has been a brother of APO since Fall 2023. my fave event is PMD science bowls because of how in-depth they are and it’s fun to see how much science the kids participating know.

    Eliza is a a fourth year studying behavioral neuroscience, she has been a brother since spring 2022 and her favorite service event is the soccer unity project because she loves playing outside with the kids!

    Serena is a 3rd year studying Biochemistry and Data Science. She has been a brother of APO since Spring 2023. Her favorite service event is the “MIT Science Bowl” because it's super fun to see and promote middle schoolers engaging in science.

    Secretary - Emma Colaco

    Emma is a fourth-year studying Cell and Molecular Biology. She has been a brother of APO since Fall 2022. Her favorite service event is “Common Care” since it’s a rewarding experience to prepare hot meals for those in need, all while learning new recipes and chatting with fellow volunteers!

    Casey is a third year studying Business Administration and Communications with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Consulting. She has been a brother of APO since Fall 2023. Her favorite service event is the “Muddy Water Initiative” because its a great way to make a direct impact on the community and its fun to find all of the weird trash!

Leadership

Leadership is a core element of APO. Brothers in leadership positions keep our chapter running. Leadership positions are open to all brothers through the executive board, committees, and leadership events.

  • Our executive board (E-board) consists of a Core E-Board and an Extended E-Board. These brothers create events, manage budgets, and communicate with the university and APO Nationals. Each semester, we elect a new E-Board for the upcoming semester.

  • Committees are an integral part of our leadershsip team. Each committee works directly with an E-Board member to help advise and plan events including fundraisers, Rush Week, and formals.

    Service Committee: Service committee provides brothers with an opportunity to communicate directly with organizations and coordinate service events for the chapter. This committee works with our co-Service VPs to create strong relationships with organizations in the greater Boston area.

    Standards Committee: Standards Committee assists the Standards Chair in handling grievances.

    Co-op Committee: Unique to the Northeastern chapter of APO, Co-op Committee works with the Membership VP to help brothers on co-op to meet membership requirements.

    Fall 2024 Coop Committee: Rachel Fensterer, Rachana Somaskandan, Annabelle Lien, Kelly Choate, Annika Toivonen, Aarohi Nadkarni

    Fundraising Committee: Fundraising Committee helps to organize fundraising events throughout the semester. Our fundraisers support local organizations whose missions reflect APO's values.

    Rush Committee: Rush Committee helps to organize and facilitate rush events throughout Rush Week.

    Fall 2024 Rush Committee: Annabelle Lien, Gabrielle Kassabian, Hannah Connelly, Harini Thiyagarajan, Jordan Gonzalez-Goss, Linda Tran, Neha Chandran

    Formal Committee: Formal Committee helps to plan and execute formals. This includes finding venues and caterers, as well as decorating.

  • Through leadership events, our brothers can continually develop and improve their leadership skills. These leadership events include public speaking, resume building, and networking workshops. In addition, our own brothers are encouraged to lead their own leadership events to further provide leadership opportunities to the chapter.
